The area covered by the county measures 607.16 sq mi. More than 0.26 million people with rich intermingling races including White, Asian, African American, Hispanic or Latino of any race, Native American, Pacific Islander and others reside in this region. It is home to more than 91K households and 57K family units. Santa Cruz is the county seat and the largest city.
